Picture a Spring Wedding in a Botanical Garden, birds chirping, flowers all arround, bouquets of bountiful white cream hydrangeas and peonies, shimmering silver candlelabras and gold accents. This bombe' was intended to be quite simple, but it did not turn out that way. It is decorated with layers and layers of embellishments. I painted it a dark gray, brushed over with a lighter gray, silver, and hints of strands of copper.
I then stamped a floral motif on the chest and added branches of birds. A Botanical Script next. The corners and sides are adorned with hand painted flowers. The carvings accenting its curvasious sides and legs were brushed with sliver and white. I stamped the sides of the drawers with the floral motiffe and lined them with lovely botanical paper.

This bombe' is perfect for a bride. the perfect place to store her wedding finery and a mirror for a final look before she descends the staircase.

Or, it is simply a beautiful piece for any room.
